Donald Freed is a prizewinning historian, dramatist,
novelist and the recipient of three Rockefeller Awards, two
Louis B Mayer Awards, Unicorn Prize, Gold Medal Award, Berlin
Critics Award, NEA award for Distinguished Writing
& The Hollywood Critics Award.
New works include: Sokrates Must Die,
Devils Advocate (to be produced on the London
stage and for film by Keith Allen), and a new novel, Every
Third House.
Mr. Freed's new play, How Shall We Be Saved?
Starring Salome Jens and Mitchell Ryan premiered at the Lost
Studio in the spring of 2002.
Freed is a Visiting Distinguished Professor
at the University Of Southern California, in addition to teaching
a Master Class at the Lost Studio for Actors, Directors &
Writers.
